Spent several years with AT&T DSL and never had advertised speeds, I wanted to upgrade to uverse internet only; no TV and drop the home phone and keep my wireless. What a giant PITA. After 8 years of their bundle; all they would do is, charge me $150.00 to install. No Thanks. I kept my DirecTV, closed all of my other AT&T accounts, got Virgin Mobile, no home phone and CHARTER INTERNET. It has only been a few months and it is incredible. To be fair, I upgraded my network from the bottom up to all gigabit and whether your client is wired or wireless; it is don't blink fast. If you can get charter ultra 100 I would highly recommend it. I am using a Motoroals DOCSIS 3.0 SB6120 Modem with a Asus RT-N56U router and a TP link 24-port gigabit switch. I would recommend all of this equipment with a suggestion for the flaky Asus firmware. Upgrade it to Padavan's custom firmware. You will be pleased.
