ok but not great, only chose charter because it was a little cheaper than anything else.
on HD channels cutting out this is your cable box or DVR switching resolutions, ours did it too, until i forced it to stick with a single resolution(1080i), versus what the native resolution of the content is(which is the cause of the "cutting out" at the end when it switches from 1080i on the show to 720p or lower on the commercials and the box or tv scales it to fit properly. what DVR do you have?
Re: on HD channels cutting out No DVR, just the digital cable box. It doesn't do it all the time but enough to get tiresome.
Re: on HD channels cutting out Is it an HD box? Just curious. When exactly does it do it? When switching to and from ads? Does it happen when the show that you are watching is on(no on ads)? I would also suggest asking for help in the charter direct forums.
Re: on HD channels cutting out Its an HD box and the screen goes black and all sound stops anywhere from the last 5 to 15 minutes. I have tried charter direct forum and they are as much help as tech support.
