We had DSL and the top speed was only half the state speed. They had a lot of trouble getting a quality line to an old sub-division (1970s). We started out with an old surfboard (owned) modem and never hit the 15 meg speed offered. The up time has been significantly better then the Dsl. I try to use the best equipment without renting it. Now with the Motorola Docsis 3.0 SB6121 the line seems to pushing more and scoring higher on speed tests. Sadly the promotion will end in 12 months, but for the same price of DSL (then) I'll keep the 15Megs over the 3Megs(6 promised). Netflix is so much more stable.
