I originally signed up for the 3Mb Platinum package. I've had this service for almost 4 years now. Since first getting service, I've been upgraded to 5Mb, then just recently to 7Mb. My download speeds are excellent.
My only complaint is when there is issues with nodes/routers with congestion and such, they are slow to fix it. But sometimes I imagine it could also be my cable company too.
For more than doubling my speeds, I've only been billed $3 more a month. I purchased a surfboard 5100 when I first signed up. Instead of renting one. I paid $50, if I would have rented, I would have paid around $430.
