After fighting over two months, I'm now up and running, and it works terrific! It's a shame I had to go through so much hassel and headache just to get to this point. If not for reaching (by luck) a couple powerful people within Ameritech, I feel I would still be sitting here connected at 33K instead of 550K! I guess the key here is not what you know, but who you know, and that's a pity for all their customers who would like this DSL service but can't get it because 95% of the employees don't know what's going on. What a shame! I feel bad for anyone who wants the serivce, but can't get it due to Ameritech's beaurcracy!
