Windstream contacts me every few months to tell me that they are offering DSL at my address...the reality is that there is no DSL service in my area yet they keep trying to sell it to me. On the two occasions that I was guaranteed that the service was now available, it ended up costing me several days of my life, and lots of lost revenue from time off work to finally be told that they were wrong...I hate being lied to...
The last time that I was going through this nightmare I was told that a tech would be at my house to look at my phone lines at a specific time. I waited all afternoon, and the tech never showed up. When I called to see what the deal was, I was told that the tech closed the ticket and claimed that they had been to the house and it was an internal phone line problem...NO ONE CAME TO MY HOUSE...I WAS THERE!!!
The same thing happened again the next day...needless to say, I will never deal with Windstream again, nor will I recommend them to others...They Lie, they waste your time, and they do not follow through on their commitments!
BAD!!!
