they only lie to customers, give you terrible service in markets without competition, and have the worst..and i mean WORST customer service dept..

"New equipment" was allegedly installed in our area the first week of October 2012.
Phone Tech Support rep told me today (Dec. 1, 2012) the estimated "fix" date for latency/oversubscription issues has been moved from October 2012 to March 2013.
I did finally get a Billing rep who didn't argue with me or hang up on me. He promised to issue me a $40 credit.
Meanwhile, my speeds still are often 1 mbps or less (on a 12 mbps package). I've asked if lowering my package to a lower speed (3mbps or 6mbps) would help or hurt; I get conflicting advice from different tech support reps.
