I signed up for a 3 yr contract with the Easy Pc Plan. The speed is high speed extreme up to 6.0 mbps for $45/month. I signed up online on March 26 and called to confirm, the telus rep. said March 31st was the earliest date to get connected. The modem arrived on March 30, I plugged it to my pc and the internet was working a day early.
I was told though that the laptop could take from 4-8 weeks to arrive. I'm crossing my fingers though and hoping that it is the SONY VAIO laptop that was advertised.....
Will update when I receive the laptop
UPDATE
Received the Sony Vaio laptop today (Apr 28), I received a tracking number at the Telus e-mail address. It shipped from Q-media Richmond, the rep I spoke to at Q-media said they don't allow pick ups. Which was okay since the shipping only took about 24 hours.
I'm satisfied with the laptop so far, although it came with a lot of bloatware. Just wanted to add that it comes with a webcam as well. The model number is Sony Vaio VGN-NS110E color is white.
