    I've been a TELUS DSL user since 1998. There have been very few outages and the last one was probably a couple years ago and lasted less than half an hour. I'm currently on the 15Mbps Turbo package and couldn't be happier.

    If you don't want packet inspection throttling your speeds, go with TELUS. It's consistent, reliable and beats Shaw hands down. I tried Shaw for a month in my location (Pleasantview area of Edmonton) and it was iffy. Often the speeds would slow down considerably in the evenings and torrenting is not worth doing.
