Moved to an apartment and had bonded-pair 100Mb service installed. Speeds are 120Mb/33Mb consistently.

update 19/08/2017 - Download speed is now capped at 110 Mbps. Called tech support and asked for an explanation, their response was that I should be happy it's still over 100Mbps, no explanation at all as to why the service has been downgraded by almost 10%.

05/10/2017 - Back to 120/33 Mbps.

10/12/17 - Download speed is now limited to 88 MB/s on what was initially around 120 Mb/s download, confirmed by Telus support staff. So my service has been degraded by 27% in nine months. With the $10/month 'Loyalty' discount I have been offered, I'm paying 6% less for the degraded service. I'll be cancelling my Telus subscription once I've chosen an alternative ISP.

12/12/2017 - After much complaining, and demonstrating that I knew what other ISP's were charging for similar service, Telus offered me a significant discount on my bill, and said I would get my old speeds back. If the tech arriving tomorrow is able to rectify the situation I will be satisfied and will edit my review to reflect the improvement.

13/12/2017 - Tech arrived and after checking connections noticed that the primary line was not achieving proper rates, as I had already told him. Called tier 2+ and found that the primary line had been capped at 89 Mb/s. Speeds are again 120/33 Mb/s

04/11/2019 - Discovered Line 2 of the bonded pair was disconnected, contacted tech support and they reconnected it, and my speeds are now 120/75 Mbps... 05/11/19 - Back to down to 120/33 Mbps...

Telus

we have been with telus for many years first of all it has monopolized the industry in central BC where there is no one else to go to. After moving to the lower mainland and converted to optic tv which I know they make more money for than satellite. We at the moment are strongly considering going to Shaw, for every time we call asking for a better rate we get one answer from the loyalty department then the bill by no means reflects it. we are waiting for equipment from Shaw to ship back Telus faulty equipment. The DVR always shuts off in the middle of a program then you have lost it unless you record it. this happens daily it becomes aggravating they come to repair then leave an older machine which is just been returned by another customer. my opinion they have got to big for their britches!!!
