    We had the box already. They came in and within 10 mins we had both cable and internet with 15 extra channels for 90.00. a month. And since we had the 2 services they waived the installation fees. We don't do a lot of downloading so we decided to go with the Lite Service.

    The connects are good and usually fast. Once in a while they are slow and even disconnect but that is far and few between.

    I like their TV Grid on the web site and the Self Care. I stopped getting the paper as it stopped showing the TV schedules and we now rely on the Cogeco TV Grid. We both have the Cogeco web site as our home pages and I get their monthly newsletter. It usually has some interesting news or sites that I check out.

    We have the premium cable and the nice part of that is I can order and make changes on the net. I can switch out one channel for another.

    When we had that storm in Oct of 2006 and we had no electric for 7 days, they were out THAT day going from house to house checking lines and connections. We didn't even have to call them. In fact they were there BEFORE we had time to check to see even IF we had cable or internet.

    Their customer service is good; even tho at times I have had ask for a second tier person etc. Atleast they speak English! We tried to get the Cogeco Phone but we rent and our lines are too old in our area, so no go.

    The only real complaint I have about Cogeco is the mail filters.They consider The New York Times and other well known newsletters as spam. So I hardly use it. I should be the one who decides if I want the email or not.
