Moved from Burlington back to Hamilton September 1st, no technical complaints. Installer incompetent, he didn't know how to get access to the cable room in the building and neither did the next two guys (and the building management was spectacularly unhelpful) but finally got access (look in a magnetic box behind the fire hose).
Problem is allegedly fixed. Long story short, my modem and DCT's were on my old Burlington account and my current Hamilton account, in Burlington it was un-returned equipment and sent to a shifty collection agency (google Deanna Natale) masquerading as a law office. I called the head office number and asked for the call centre manager and 2 hours later, problem fixed and no more lawyers calls. I'm just a little disappointed that it got this far, someone should have looked at the two accounts I have, realised the mistake and not caused a week of frustration. Cogeco should also take a long hard look at their relationship with the Natale Law Offices and Deanna Natale.
