    This is per my experience , and my opinion about Cogeco. Some might agree , and some won't. But I am not willing to change my opinion about them after experincing them. Numbers will speak.

    The installation was great and quick I liked that about Cogeco. The technician was a very friendly person and the pre-sale staff were great. After that, my connection was slow at both afternoons and nights. I am not a heavy downloader. I watch youtube , play some games online , read the news, do my work remotely. I purchased the standard package which promises UP to 10M. I mean it doesn't have to reach the 10 at all that's fine but when its at 1 MB and less , that's ridiculous. I personally don't like the speed I am receiving at all and the customer service were of no help.

    If someone was to ask me whether to get Cogeco, I tell them to try another provider.

    Sounds like it. It happens once and a while, i think it happened to me once. Just call them up and tell them you think you're on the wrong package then you're paying for, and they SHOULD be able to fix it if that's the problem.

    worth checking even though bill said regular package ...either way its cogeco's fault

    talked to Cogeco and they said they need to come install a new line. What's wrong with the ones I have now? they haven't been there even a year from what I was told from landlord. So I agreed and they brought me the laziest technician possible (a contract too). He was sloppy, lazy and didn't want to install any lines at all. He stood in the living room and just looked around and then said oh it's really hard to install lines here. We'll need to drill a new hole (in a really rude manner that i almost punched him out of my house) and gave me this really weird paper with hand writing and another company's name and said have your landlord sign it. He came back (upon request from Cogeco by landlord who called them and gave them a lesson on manners and the lame customer service said to make another appointment and no drilling is needed). THE SAME LAZY SLOP comes back and insists that letter gets signed. He doesn't care what the customer service thinks and the landlord was there & the technician bitched her out because of the cable arrangements & the refusal to drill a hole.

    So now I still have slow internet. THANKS ALOT COGECO , THAT'S HOW LAME YOU ARE. I WILL BE SHOPPING AROUND FOR OTHER COMPANIES.
