    I Switched to MTS on Wednesday May 30 2007, The installer was here for about four hours hooking up the phone, tv and internet. He was very professional. He got all my services up and running. And he was very polite. My MTS services are great. I no longer need to have a big box for every tv in my house. One box does it all and its all digital. My internet speeds are the same no matter what time I test it. Its a bit slower than Shaw but atleast its consistant. And with the phone there are no more echos and downtime as there was with Shaw. Overall I am glad to get rid of Shaw. Good job mts

    Update Sunday August 12 2007- Hi I have had made one service call since my last post. The service call was due to my tv box resetting. it took one service call to get it done. If I was still on shaw it would of taken them 10 times to get it right. im very impressed with mts as they acually care aobut their customers unlike shaw. and mts has very friendly technical support and customer service. and I really like the tv call display and email on demand features. I must say I should never judge a company without trying them again first. I just hope my review stays good thankyou

    My MTS services have been excellent these past two months. I recently got a new tv in my bedroom. I phoned mts support to get the codes for that tv and everything is great. I have only needed tech support once and that was to get codes for my tv. I must say its great not needing technical support all of the time. I just hope my mts services stay working good. I can say im a pretty happy camper at the moment.

    My mts services have been running okay the past 5 months. at the moment i am happy with all my mts services and would recommend them. my internet speeds are still the same. the only problems i have are if i need technical support it takes a while for them to answer. and they could be reached easier. the hd channels are really lacking as they only have 8 hd stations. I have not yet made the move to mts hd and i wont until they get atleast 15-20 perhaps in 2009 i will switch to mts hd. and internet only offers 15 megabytes of webspace. it could have more space. The mts home networking service is good. All in all I am a happy camper at the moment. thanks

    I have canceled mts tv two months ago due to hd programming and i was getting sick of the tv glitching so I went to Starchoice and am happy with them. as well I have canceled my mts landline phone as we have cellphones. so now my only service with mts is internet and im not impressed as when I was trying to get my tv fixed they canceled the service call on me. The only reason why I am still with mts for internet is because they are giving me a wireless router and support it. If anybody else ever offers that service I am gone. thanks

    for the past several months mts has been great. there service has not gone down once since i last typed this review up. i have just internet and its great. the tv isnt so good but the internet is amazing. and i like the fact that they support the internet router. so im one happy camper right now.

    I have canceled my internet service. I have had a good few months but switched to Shaw for better pricing and more options thanks

    MTS very slow?

    I have read up a lot regarding MTS speeds and when I first moved to Manitoba in August '07, I figured it would be a no brainer to pick MTS over Westman Cable or Inetlink (I live South of Brandon so no Shaw as an option).

    I play a lot of online games, download a few songs here and there and did go through the speed tests on DSL Reports in August but generally I was VERY happy with things. The speeds were respectable despite DSL set backs.

    Here is my speed test results for August '07:
    MTS DSL 3780 Kb/s download... 325Kb/s upload... latency 92ms

    Here is my speed test results for November '07:
    MTS DSL 931 Kb/s download... 303 Kb/s upload... latency 41ms

    Any one have some idea of what might be killing the download? At the office we also have MTS Lightening and have seen similar download drop off during office hours.
