This could be a great service if Direcway would allow it. They fail to explain or even mention their Fair Access Policy--------so beware. I seldom have any connection problems unless weather related If you have found this board I suggest bookmark it as you will need it. I have found more support here than thru direcway. Direcway does not notify the customers when there are problems. Direcway is now known as Hughesnet the FAP (Fair Access Policy) has changed This caused a big controversy not for the better, but they did allow unlimited usage in the early AM hours If the only option you have is dial-up then a satellite isp is great Wireless is increasing throughout the country & beats satellite in price. I expect wireless to have issues in the future as more hop on the bandwagon. After being a Hughesnet/Direcway customer for 5+ yrs I plan on going wireless If you have a cell phone and can get EV-DO then use it Tether it as a modem or obtain a data card I hope this has helped someone
