I made my order from an installer. They were there to hookup within 48 hours. Since i had no landline phone they even took my pc in and commissioned the software for the 4k modem at the time. They seemed fairly knowledgeable, and made a proper install. I was very impressed.
My first plan was the Home- dynamic ip.. 4k modem and the old white fiber dish. I later upgraded to professional, then later to small business.
Tech support from hughesnet is probably one of the worst tech support folks I've ever talked to. Most people who've had their systems for over a year, already surpass the knowledge of those whom they will speak to to address issues, untill you get higher up on the tech support queue. Dont expect much from them.
Overall I've had this system for over 4 years now. I've been very happy with them. Your style of internet use will determine the happiness or lack there of in their product and service.
