Well, I've had my service for a month now, and am quite satisfied. Before I jumped on board, I was a little paranoid from all of the bad reviews, mostly just the bandwith problems Hughes has been having, so I decided to wait for the new HN9000 Ka band system. Glad I did. I'm on the pro plan, and average about 1250 kbps at any given time. The only time I have had a bad experience is when the NOC in MD had very very bad storms over it. The ping times suck, but hey, its traveling like 30,000 miles, so oh well. Coming from dial up, i am super pleased. I would only recommend the HN9000, from what i've read about the Ku systems, I would stay away. No regrets here. It's not perfect, but its a lot better than dial-up, my only option.
