I Considered WildBlue , AT&T DSL , and Verizon Wireless before getting HughesNet.. Trust me HughesNet is better than all the others. I have the HOME PLAN: Up To 1mb/s DL & 128kb/s UL @ 69.99 I ordered from PLAZA APPLIANCES AND ELECTRONICS.. it took a whole month of waiting for them to finally come and install.. then when they installed they started my Microsoft Updates and i got FAPed before i even got to enjoy my first day of my new internet. My Modem is HN9000.

| O.o I'm incredibly confused why you prefer HughesNet over Verizon, let alone AT&T DSL if you can get it...Hughes is a rip-off and AT&T offers faster speeds, lower latency, no FAP...entirely better than Hughes. I just switched from Hughes to Sprint and am loving it.
I'm not meaning to say that you're crazy, but you are

@comcast.net | what are you going to do when you go over the 5 gigs your assigned through at&t or sprint. so instead of being at a reduced speed you can pay lots of extra money.

·HughesNet Satellit..
| if i could get AT&T i would, but as i said in my review "if u live in a rural area where dial-up is the ONLY thing u can think of.." i couldn't get DSL the lines ended a mile away >_.. Verizon charges you .25/mb once u exceed their monthly threshold. I play games and i make huge downloads so i can't risk Verizon. So I may be crazy for saying HughesNet is the best I can get but indeed it is.. I hardly ever get FaP'd (i know how to manage downloads / ect.) and these speeds is faster than what i had with dial-up (24kbps Netscape) | |

| Hughesnet sucks I am incredibly confused why you can say you love Hughesnet and prefer it over everything else, but yet you go on to say that you were FAPed the first day before you even got to use the service. How is this better. Hughesnet sucks. Been there and you couldn't pay me to go back to those ripoff artists. I say you're crazy too! | |

·HughesNet Satellit..
| Re: Hughesnet sucks I do not love HughesNet _ actually in fact i very much dislike them. And me being FaP'd was due to some stupid installer not my activities with Hughes. I usually never get FaP'd.. u just have to have a download manager and know how to manage downloads.. im not crazy. HN is just my only option... and if u think dial-up is better then u certainly don't do nothing but browse _ | |
