Update December 4 2013
Telus came by. They disconnected Shaw so they can use the coax. Will write review later.
Update November 20 2013
Ordered Telus Internet 50. Optik TV Select and Home Phone 1 on the 17th. Install is on the 4th of December.
Shaw called me today and offered to give me some deals. I told them to take a hike and it was problems with the node.
Not much else to report from last month.

Update October 10 2013
Service is been getting slowly worse. Getting ping spikes while gaming. PVR has been acting up with pixelation. According to my parents the cost has gone up quite a bit in the past year minus VOD orders of course. Planning on switching to Telus Real Soon Now™

Update Feb 13 2013
Planning on switching to Telus or a wholeseller such as TSI.

2012 Review
I have a bundle with Shaw TV (HD) Phone and Internet (BB50).
I ordered around August 10th and it took ten days for them to transfer numbers and stuff. They replaced the Motorola Surfboard modem with a Cisco. It works flawlessly (other then speeds) as long as you have it in bridge mode. The tech was very polite. Sadly it is crippled by node congestion.
I don't watch TV or use the phone that much so I cannot speak for those services.
I would rate this service a 7.5/10
I have high hopes with TELUS Optik 50.
