So when I moved into my new house Bell had not yet upgraded the lines for DSL past a 2 Meg profile. So naturally the best solution at the time was cable. I signed up with Rogers on their Express plan to start and had consistently good speeds as advertised. Found that the 60GB cap was becoming too small i went to their Extreme Plus (25/1) and as advertised my speeds were exactly that. Never an outage or slowdown and very reliable.
This service however comes at a price. When on the extreme plus service you are forced to either buy or rent their poor quality SMC Wireless gateway device. Their technical support, although friendly, is not incredibly competent. The 125GB cap is adequate for my use however for the price paid it's incredibly low. Services + rental + tax ended up being exactly $87.00 a month which in the end became too much for too little and I ended up switching to Teksavvy.
