    I have MDM (now BroadStripe or "BroadSuck" as we call it) for both video and data service. I have a 6MB downlink with a 384KB downlink. Throughput is average during times when no one else is online. It drops off precipitously during peak usage hours. There are frequent service interruptions for both video and data. If possible avoid using BroadStripe for your data provider.

    Dropped Packets

    Broadstripe's data service is having problems with dropping packets. I have sent my 3rd mail to them with no response containing the technical data on how to diagnose the problem. There equipment seems to stop responding every minute or two for a period of time and then comes back. This is what is causing your video to get stuck and your data service to be twitchy. I'm awaiting a response on my 3rd mail who I actually sent directly to an employee of BroadStripe that is in this very forum.
