    I have no other options for internet even though DSL and Cable are across the street.

    I have to say with the max bandwidth you can get is 3 Mbits. It makes no difference the ping is all over the board and you will never get a stable connection to get close to it. I would say there speed is rated for peaks only at times. It seems like i am on dial up. The upstream is just awful its a caped compressed steam that will take you for ever to upload anything no mater what speed you have. I dropped my speed down to the 512 up 1.5 down just cause thats the max i would ever see from time to time. The tech support states that they don't guarantee there speeds and that mine is fine i am only 1/2 mile from the tower so the signal is very good its just there service behind it.
