I was originally on @home and had to be switched over with the advent of the @home vs. at&t bickering several years ago.

attbi was OK, but nothing to write home about.

When comcast took over, things were shaky at first. But now that we are several years into comcast, it is all good. Currently getting about 18mbps d/l 2mbps u/l when testing through the speakeasy site in WDC.

I have the cable modem feeding a home network with 3 computers connected constantly, and two laptops and several handhelds that come and go.

My one complaint? Comcast spam filters need a lot of tuning

All in all, still a decent value.

If you think Comcast is the best deal you simply don't ...

... have another point of reference.

I've got a 15/2 data line that I pay less for than you do, not only exceeds the advertised speeds but in 18 months hasn't experienced a single problem what-so-ever.

My experience is like night and day compared to the troublesome Comcast service that always ground to a halt in the evening during peak times.

TV is now available in our area with the same results, lower cost, more channels, vastly better picture quality.

Comcast couldn't pay me to go back, not ever.
