well i signed up for another go around with AT&T and let me tell you it was an excelenbt choice on my part... i signed up on July 25 and was up and was up and running on the 27th... the tech showed up (30 min late i may add) and dropped off the mode, softwear and put a filter on the outside line. I was up and running in about 10 min. my speed is exactly what im paying for (1500/256) it is a fairly stable connection with an occaisonal outage (about once or twice a night) but only last for a minut or two, i was told this was beause of AT&T switching over to new servers that could handle the 3000/512 lines soon to be offered in my are (79.99/mo)... icant complain...AT&T, you guies rule
