    I currently pay for the "premiere" tier of HSI....what a crock. "Premiere" is rumored to be 12/1 here. Ha. RIght. I have been getting ⅓ of that for a couple years now. I've done all the things you shouldn't have to do such as replaced my modem, router, and get this....even with a brand new Mac the speeds suck, lol. I've had techs over to look at my signals and of course all is peachy. I've shown them my disconnect logs and got nothing but a shrug. All in all I cannot, in good faith, recommend this company. If it's the only thing available then so be it. It is marginally better than dial up, at only 3x the price. What a deal.

    Slow Speeds, Lots of Disconnect

    I've had COX for a little over a year now. Since last August, I have had LOTS of problems with disconnects. On the phone, tech support denies there's a problem and says it's my computer. I've had field technicians out here 3 times and they always find a problem in their lines. They fix the problem, then 2 days later the problem returns.

    One phone representative finally told me they oversold their service and their equipment can't keep up. Officially , though, they are not allowed to admit this.
