Had some problems back in October with signals, but I had a guy out to my house and the problem was fixed within days. Speeds are better than ever, especially with their Boost, and ping times haven't been affected.

I'd highly suggest them if you live in the Las Vegas area.

    ---------------

I figured I would redo this report.

1 year, 2 months ago, I ordered Cox HSI with the 3.0 mb/256 kb package. I haven't had one bad experience with Cox so far. A few weeks ago, I ordered Cox Digital Cable to replace my DirecTV dish, this ended up lowering my High Speed Internet bill by $10 each month, which made me happy.

Before I had Cox, I was stuck in a 9 month contract with Sprint, I had to pay $300 to get out of the contract, but it was worth it. Pings were horrible, I wasn't even receiving half of the speed advertised rates. Not to mention it was $54.95 a month! That's too expensive for terrible service.

I am currently using a Com 21 DOXPort 1110b which allows me to use both the ethernet and USB connections, but costs $5 more a month because of it using an extra IP address. The IP is dynamic, but hasn't changed yet. I have only had to call tech support once, and it was because I was getting major packet loss. A tech came out, had to replace a splitter, and it all worked great again. I do hope they upgrade the speeds to an "Extreme" package or something similar, with speeds of 5.0mbps down and 1.0mbps up. I would buy this in a heartbeat, I am craving speed.

I just want to say, great job Cox. You guys know how to serve your customers, and aren't messing up like Comcast. Unfortunately, I will be moving in a few months to Valencia, CA, and Comcast serves that area.
