    UPDATE**

    I just got my new apartment and have had Cox HSI for about two days now. So far so good! The connection has been stable and I get 100% of the advertised download speeds. I signed up for 4000/512 preferred tier online about 2 weeks ago and future dated the install. The offer was for 24.95 the first three months and 39.95 there after. This is $10.00 cheaper than what I was paying a few years back for HSI only services and the speeds are faster now. I received a free Motorola Surfboard 5120 and there was no installation charge. I'm a big downloader and a huge gamer so I pay close attention to the quality of service. I noticed my download speeds were reported by my browser at about 530KB/sec and my gaming latency was in the 20ms range often dipping into the teens. I must say I am pleased with this service once again and would recommend it to my friends and family over DSL. Thanks again Cox!

    It took about 8 days from the time of order to delivery but was well worth the wait. The installer was very knowledgeable and it only took a few short minutes to setup. He setup my email and made sure my speeds were satisfactory before he left(unlike some other isp's that I know). I get 7 email addresses, uncapped news and 3000/256 speeds. The gaming latency is very low and i could not be more satisfied. As far as ordering goes I was very informed by the sales person and everything she said was right on the money. If you already have cable tv the price is lowered to 39.98 a month. There was that 60 or 70 dollar install fee. I cant remember which. I really could have lived without that. I am getting a free modem with a 12 month contract. The contract was optional. I could have payed a 5 dollar rental fee. So free modem evens out the install free. Kudos Cox HSI
