I have been using Cox (first @Home) for a few years, and have been fairly happy with the service. During the @Home debacle, Cox went the extra mile to keep the service up and running during the transitition period. The only real complaint I have is the phone support, it's in California and they never know what the hell is going on in CT. The local tech support people, ( the guys in the trucks) are pretty good, no complaints about them at all. I'm still seeing 3000 Kb down and about 256 Kb up. The mail servers are reliable and fast. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service and will never go back to dial-up.
The speeds have increased to 5 Mb down and 1.5 Mb up, not going to complain about that! Otherwise, all is well.
Update: I'm still using Cox as an ISP and I am still fairly happy with them overall. The speeds are good and reasonably steady and the reliability has been good. Could be faster and cheaper. I'm lucky that Cox does as good a job as they do where I live because I can't get any other type of broadband here.
