None of us are gamers so I cannot rate Cox in that area, however the speed and reliability of our internet’s service is excellent. We have never had a problem while streamIng movies or tv shows. Customer and tech support, the few times we have needed them over the past 20 years, have been responsive and easy to work with.

I wish we had such competition

We are stuck paying $71 for 45Mbps internet service with AT&T U-Verse VDSL

Cox HSI

I have very limited options since CenturyLink will only give me 3-6Mbit/sec internet for $45-50 a month, and Cox HSI gives me 30-35Mbit/sec for $39.99 (internet only)...works pretty well, IMO.

re: rates

The rates are no where near competitive .

Cable Cox:
100/10 $85
300/30 $105
"gig" 900/35 $120

1TB limit

FTTH/ FIOS
100/100 $40
300/300 $60
940/880 $80

cox is no where near competitive price or speed wise
