    Speed and reliability are the common factor considered for broadband. I ordered a 15Mbps/2Mbps package but the measured speed was around 10Mbps/1.5Mbps. It was not as good as FiOS 5Mbps/2Mbps package. It costed me $15 more than FiOS every month. Cable disconnected few times a day, as it is not reliable as FiOS. The cable modem was small and slow. The only good thing was Cox provided all the cables to cover any floor of the house.

    Your problem issues

    Looks like too many ppls in your hand in your area who uses your cable share so much or could be your TCP window issue.

    Hi Ikyuano, forget about cable radio frequency. FiOS has the speed of light almost three times faster than radio signal. Yes, the ppls signal for TV and internet together is too much for cable to handle in most areas disregard the signal lost per foot for coaxial cables.

    Yes, That is true... Light of speeds is greater faster than radio wave system. However, With light ray of speeds is greater speeds like warp speeds in sort of theory matters... If I ever heard that fiber ISP is available in my area then I would like to switch to fiber and problem issues solved immediately... However in theory of science that radio wave is slow than light of speeds so you agree with this theory of science?
