I love cox, i have premier service, cable Tv and phone, my only complaint is the new VOIP modems serve for phone and net, and have a battery backup, so i cant just restart the modem whenever i want to. I have to call to get them to reset it. Would be nice if unplugging the modem would powercycle it.

The net is AWESOME speed, i download around 500kBps-2.1MBps depending on what and where its coming from.

A+++ Tech support, billing support and sales staff, they arent too pushy, they just give you the facts and let you decide without trying to sell more than u want.

    Reset options

The VoIP modem should have a reset button on it that you can press with a paper clip, ALso if you remove the battery and pull power it will reset...

    Resetting the modem

yea i have the VOIP modem and I pull the battery then the plug, wait about 30 seconds, plug the battery back in and then re plug in back in. I don't have a problem w/ mine and I FOR SURE don't call Cox when doing that either.

But if you perfer doing that feel free to do so, but it's a waste of time sir/mam!
