I have had cox high speed internet service in Northern Virginia for two years and it has never been down because of COX, only when the power goes out. I used to have DSL and it was out almost weekly. The cost is high but when I signed up for TV/telephone and internet package the overall cost was cheaper. When i signed up cox gave me a free cable modem. I recommend Cox in Northern Virgina over other internet providers including FIOS from Verizon because of their customer service and billing system. I have never had a billing problem with COX.
