The internet was great when it worked. Every time it rained or we had a thunderstorm, we would lose service for hours. What caused me to switch was when we had a problem, COX said they couldnt dispatch a service rep for 3 days! When he showed up, the poor guy was overworked and beat. I asked him what the issue was in getting here and he said that he was the ONLY guy servicing the Pflugerville Tx/Round Rock area!! I cancelled the service the next day. Poorly treated service reps and customers. Sorry COX. I hope you have done better lately. Hire some more people in the Round Rock area to help your customers.

I apologize for the service interrruptions but I'm a little confused as to your location. I was not aware that Cox still had a presence in the state of Texas. Are you sure you are reviewing the correct Internet provider?

Yes, is under zip code 78660. This was from 2000 to 2008 when we switched to ATT. The high speed was offered around mid 2000 and we were one of the first ones to get it. It maye have been sold or something since we switched, Im not sure.
We tried to give COX a chance to remedy and match AT and T before we we switched but the rep wouldnt do a thing. We asked to macth the service or at minimum lower our bill. They said no. There are at least 5 people on my street that switched but I dont know their reasons why.
Mr. Cox Tech, no disrespect to you, but, Im not surprised by your answer. It seems thats how we were treated in Pflugerville/Round Rock, like we didnt exist.

I certainly was not my intention in anyway to mistreat a customer rather I was simply puzzled by the timing of this service review. It appears that sometime in 2006 Suddenlink took ownership of all our accounts in your service area. If there was anything I could do for you at this point I certainly would but it appears that if were still experiencing service issues after this transition that the people at Suddenlink would be the ones to best address your concerns.
