When my girlfriend moved into a house in Central Phoenix back in 2009, the house (over 50 years old) was never wired for cable TV. The installer ran the line from the alley, installed the junction box, grounded it and installed 6 outlets and the equipment I brought from the apartment we just moved out.
The porting of the house phone from Qwest went off without a hitch. Only time I needed them out for a problem was for a digital freezing problem that was solved with a line amplifier.
Fast forward to October 2010, my DCM-202 modem starts flaking out. Purchase a Motorola SB6120 and see the benefits immediately. My 12mbps connection always seems to exceed the speed with channel bonding. Since moving here in 2005 from the frigid upper Midwest. Cox has been been my ISP and provider of their other services as well.
It took my a while to convert me from satellite for TV service, but their recent upgrades to their TV services have me convinced.
