I have had Cox's "preferred" plan for years now and according to SpeedTest.com the bandwidth they provide is beyond what is advertised. However, more services (online gaming) require a consistent connection rather than one that just averages at the advertised speed but can still hit zero every now and then. Their "powerboost" only serves to make the connection more inconsistent.
