    During the billing monster issue with SBC/ATT, resigned with TWC/RR.
    On 30 March 2007, switched over to ELK Cable Services, for the cost of the service.
    6 months for $29.95 and the to $41.95 afterwards, as opposed to TWC/RR $49.99.
    Speed and service have been good, and no issues with install, except with TWC. They wanted to send a tech out, but when I told them i already had a modem, was advised to call and have my ELK config pushed to the modem, which was done during the phone call.
    Rebooted the modem and it has been good to go since.

    **UPDATE**
    3 June 2003 - Having had ELK cable for 9 months, all I can say is, I am very pleased with the service. Have only had a couple of minor outages (Equipment related - their end at local TW).
    Calls to tech support are few and far between, but I do get results.
    Would still recommend ELK cable to anyone who wants high-speed broadband.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Originally started with RoadRunner BroadBand, but when EarthLink became available, I sized up the 2 right away and it was a no brainer.
    Took just 1 phone call and I was good to go. Only minor complaint is that it took a tech visit to officially change things over. After the visit, my IP changed to a Mindspring cable connection.
    Have not had any major problems with the service. No calls to tech support, which is why they are rated only 3 stars.
    Would recommend this to anyone who is outside the CO distance limit for ADSL, as I am.
    This is much better than dial-up, any day.
