    Earthlink is the third broadband provider I have had in Houston and, as with the two previous providers (SWB and TimeWarner Cable), I'm fairly happy. Initial problems with co-ordination between Earthlink (reseller) sales and TimeWarner (infrastructure) installers gave me a few headaches, but other than that the first month has been smooth. Earthlink offers a nice alternative for those in the Houston area who don't want cable TV (a prerequisite for TW cable modem service), and/or who may be too far from the CO for SWB DSL.. The $29.95 six month introductory price is nice, and the standard fee of $41.95 is slightly lower than that of TW.
