I have the Mediacom "MAX" 15/1 service. It has been very good, very reliable (can only recall a single outage in the past 6 months, and that was due to a power line down). Speed is nearly always as rated. It is a bit expensive, but there is no competition here.
Tech support (should you ever need it) is horrid. They don't know their heads from their rears, and, frankly, neither do the vast majority of their "techs" who I've had to school more than once about pretty basic things.

Now have been upgraded to "MAX" 20/2 service. Don't always get those speeds, but fairly close, and the service has been reliable. Price could be a tad lower but all in all it's fantastic.
