Golden Triangle was bought out by Execulink and since then everything has been pretty good except one bandwidth incident I believe.
They moved their equipment to 151 Front St. in Toronto, so bandwidth shouldn't be much of a problem now. They seem to have bandwidth problems every now and then, shortage of bandwidth? Not sure.
They have no cap but I hear there's a soft cap, not sure if it's enforced.
Speakeasy New York Speedtest Download Speed: 4331 kbps (541.4 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 675 kbps (84.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
They use HydroOne and GT Group Telecom as part of their routing.
I will stick with them until they give me a reason to leave.
Update: They decided to raise my grandfathered rate, so I decided to leave them. It's been a 5 year ride, mostly smooth sailing. When it works, it works well but when they were problems, it takes time for them to fix.
When I left there are some latency and speed issues, could be being oversubscribed. This seems to be a trend with this ISP. Wouldn't pay their current price for their service.
