I've been with them for about 2 years and the experience was consistent. Regular small outages, tech support trying to fix the little problems I had, but lately they continue to spam me, despite repeated calls to their Customer Service line. I will drop them as soon as I get a new ISP. The irony is that I might have subscribed to their VoIP service if the wouldn't spamvertized it.

    Re: No Spam

I've just received a message "Go From Good to Great with Our Digital Bundle" from "Execulink Telecom <weconnect@execulink.com>";. They spam me on a monthly basis. I can live with the mini-outages, but spam from my ISP is crossing the line.

Maybe you can turn it off in the Memeber Services login on their site.

Tried that. Also tired to call them directly 4 times. I made sure that my file has a note like "absolutely no soliciting". At one of the calls one CSR read it to me, so I know it's there. No effect. What's next, block their e-mail servers?

    Matter of Perspective I Suppose

I personally enjoy the kind of "spam" you mention. It ended up saving me $30. I was on VOIP and DSL for 3 months at $49.99, but then I received this email and they gave me $49.99 for the 6 months advertised without a fuss at all even though I was already signed up.

Re: Matter of Perspective I Suppose

It's not spam when you ask for it. You're welcome to enjoy the solicitation. It definitely is spam when you repeatedly ask NOT to receive it.

And by the way, other ISPs have much better deals with the VoIP and better reviews, I've looked around since. I won't make free advertising for them though.
