I ordered with their sales rep on January 24th. Received an e-mail, with someone else's name acknowledging the signup. After not hearing anything else from them I called their "CUSTOMER CARE" number. I was on hold for 30 minutes, before the called was answered by a very confused woman, who could not find anything having to do with my account. She mentioned that they had switched to a new database and that all the records were not transferred. She suggested I call my sales rep, who is located in Boston. After a long distance call, I found out that my the $100 deposit on my Discover card was never submitted, and that my account was marked pending payment. He said he would take care of it, and that I should hear in 2 weeks. Well it's now 2 1/2 weeks later and not a peep out of Flashcom. On February 17th I waited on hold for 35 minutes on their "CUSTOMER CARE" line and finally gave up in frustration. Yesterday I held for 1 hr and 43 minutes and gave up in frustration.
E-mail them you say ? Hell they don't answer those either. If I could just get through to someone at Flashcom and get my $ 100 dollars back, I'd cancel the whole damn thing in a DSL second.
The moral of the story, "do your homework before you give anyone your money"
You can bet on Monday morning I will be on their butts to try and get my $100 back and be done with them for good.
