order infospeed dsl on the 16th of febuary take 10 business days to activate my account it is now the 20th and it will be activated on the 25th but i am having a serious problem my adsl modem is not supported on my os which is win2k and on the modem page it says the modem is compatible with win2k but they are not going to put out any genric drivers and that the isp have to provide the drivers?i called bell atlantic and tell them my problem and they say that bell atlantic software which is i guess that winpoet program (which i think is 1.4 but if you upgrade to 2.0 is works with win2k) well not support win2k and will never support win2k and i don't want to go back to 98 because it has so many bugs and is unstable. i have a effiecent internal 3060 modem and bell atlantic says that if i change my modem bell atlantic software will still not support it. so what am i to i don't want to go back to 98 and i want to have my adsl i have 5 days to figure it out what am i to do any suggestions?
