    Update 8/7/08 - 20MB down with 1.5MB up. Reasonable price for the bandwidth, although it would be nice if they offered a tiered service plan, like 5MB/512K for half the price of the normal speed. Download speeds are a bit inconsistent; tests with speedtest.net show rates from 14MB up to 30MB no matter the time of day. However, upload speeds are consistent at 1.5MB. As the only other alternative for high-bandwidth broadband is WOW, Insight is *much* cheaper and has better customer service.

    I don't understand how 10MB/1MB is "pricey" for $30?
    Try 384Kb/128Kb ("dial-up buster") for $ 27 and then let us know if you think $ 30/month is expensive for Insight's speed.

    Don't care for the tone of your sarcasm but, nonetheless, I'm unsure at this point why I stated it was pricey. I've edited my review to remove that statement. Hope that makes you happy now. If there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know.
