I ordered Telocity on january 6th, their website said it would take upto
6-8 weeks, and they were right. The installer came today march 2nd to
install the line, just prior to him arriving i recieved my telocity
DSL modem!and just as i got upstairsthe phone rang, it was the Rhythems
guy! telling me to open the door. So I did, and he proceded to the
basement and he hooked it up.... unfortunatly after we found out their
was no signal comming through. After 2 calls to the rhythems people (I
supose it was them?) they sent some tones down the line and he didnt
here it on my end. So he told me Ameritech would come within 24hours to
connect the outside wireing which they claimed they installed last
month. So im sittin here waiting for the 'Service' light to switch on on
this modem. Ill keep you posted on the happenings......
