March 2003 I ordered my service during the Christmas/New Year holiday and Mark at AV Radionet was able to set up the installation within two days of my request. Prior to placing the order, I was in contact with the folks at AV Radionet on several occasions in the week prior to the actual installation with questions about the service. Each e mail and phone call was answered in a timely and accurate manner. Mark came out for the site survey and a couple of hours later, not only was the wireless service set up but I was provided with all the information necessary to get my wired/wireless home network up and running. My initial costs for equipment and first months service was $450. This included installation of the equipment and the in house wiring required. I am paying $50/month for 512K/512K service (static ip) that has proven to be very reliable. No long term commitment.
My last experience with broadband was DSL with PacBell at another house in Palmdale. The installation experience with that was nightmarish. Almost 2 months and 6 attempts from PacBell from order to live.
All in all, I am extremely satisfied with what AV Radionet has provided. They deliver what they promise.
November 2003 After almost a year of incredibly reliable service, Mark and AV Radionet continue to do a fine job of delivering what they promise.
February 2004 Still rockin'............
August 2006 Extremely reliable service with virtually no down time in years. Still delivering what they promise. Now getting 768/768 service for $50/month.
February 2011 After almost 8 years of really good service, I had technical issues. I attempted to contact AV Radionet for resolution. No phone calls were returned and emails were not answered. I wanted to keep my $$$ with local small business - which is why I kept this service long after (faster & cheaper) cable internet was available. But if the local business folks can't/won't provide technical support or customer service, there was only one choice to make. I reluctantly cancelled my service with AV Radionet a couple of months ago and went with Time Warner.
