This is an addendum to my prior postings. Since last night, I am up and running. The throughput has been excellent with minimal packet loss. This is how Internet access SHOULD be!!
As for my previous problems... Both Phoenix Net and Rhythms gave me their undivided attention to my problem. My negative comments were based on frustration. They never stopped working toward a solution, and despite my negative attitude, always remained patient and professional with me (at all levels). Part of me problem related to being the first install in my market, Buffalo. It is only natural for there to a few hiccups. But they addressed them promptly and effectively.
If Rhythms and/or Phoenix Net is available in your market, get it. You won't regret it. I haven't!
