Monthly Internet charge $39 for 1.5 downstream 125 up,dynamic IP,PPPoE software.

10/4/00 was my line programing but could not install on that day because the Snet network routers were down ( Snet has sent a letter on 11/10/00 with a $39 credit for November : ) for network downtime in October,My downtime was around 10 Hours that night )
I have been connected since 10/5/00 with to many problems.Dramatic peed drops for a week or so around 3/4/01 but problem was addressed and is pretty much back to normal.
After system tweaks from DSLREPORTS.COM I am getting consistent speeds that are close to what I am paying for.
Other than the rate hike,I am a happy clam.
SBC/SNET has merged with Yahoo and so far we continue to enjoy the same service and speeds we have enjoyed in the past.
1/04 Legacy customers are being offered a 12 month contract price cut from $39 to $26 a month for service!
1/26/04 Price drop offered to legacy customers for a 1 year contract a price of $26 per month is offered. package is 1.5kbs down and the upload has been increased from 130kbs up to 220kbs up!. The great solid service continues.
3/25/05 Upgrade to SBC PRO package 3mps down/500kbs up for the same price I've been paying for basic for one year. I received the first 3 months @ $29.95 with a partial All-Distance package credit.
Actual speeds are 2550 down/ 440 up and rock solid!
10/1/05 Dsl Pro since the upgrade on 3/25 has been the most reliable connection I've ever seen. I don't think I've had a drop in connection yet. : ) totally satisfied!!!
11/05/06 Still using DSL Pro with no problems at all since SBC was bought out by AT&T. Great service!
3/6/09 ATT DSL is still our choice for an ISP. Bundled Internet, Cell and land line gives us a discount so we are happy!
