First line support is like most tech support: non-techs reading out of a book. I had to wait ten days (to make sure the modem and ADSL equipment had optimized) before the 1st tech would report my speed problems. It took two weeks to get this thing up and running because the AT&T database people screwed up twice on my order. However, now that is straightened out, this is the fastest service and the lowest price hi speed service I have received out here. I am on the Pro pkg: AT&T offers one faster for another $10/month, which I'll try after I am sure of this one's stability.
UPDATE 4/4/08: I switched to the "Pro" pkg (3-6 M) sometime back. It generally clocks in around 4.5M but with little difference in reallity speeds. In fact, the biggest difference I notice is that now it goes into la-la land and I twiddle my thumbs much more often now waiting on responses than the 1-3M service. However, it is still by far the best and fastest service out here (and the best deal: Earthlink DSL is the next closest at twice the cost).
