Update 2/17/11 - Wish AT&T offered a faster speed that 6.0 Mbps. The 'Elite' tier doesn't seem so elite anymore...Service has been rock solid though.

Update: To this date, I've had terrific service with AT&T DSL. Couldn't ask for more.
Had cable internet, liked it, but it was too expensive. Decided to try out DSL for the significant monthly savings (over $40/month), and glad I switched. DSL has been fast and rock solid as far as I'm concerned.
Side note- I ordered the self install kit which I received a few days after the initial order, and I was up and running within 30 minutes of receiving the box.
