I switched from Comcast 8MB service to AT&T DSL elite as a cost saving measure.I had difficulty getting the service to work reliably, requiring several calls to support, one new modem and a on-site technician dispatch to "tune" the system.
Now 3 months later, speed is inconsistent, slowing to less than 1MB (should be 5-6MB). Have requested a dispatch technician to address issues.
I hae Motorola 2210-02-1002 DSL modem, NeatGear WGR614 V6 wireless router and NetGear 4 port giga bit swtch.
I do not like the need to repeatedly contact technical support to address speed slow downs.
